I have found the answer to the age old question "What came first the chicken or the egg?" According to Genesis 1:21 the chicken came first. That's where I am putting my peg down and I am basing my answer on God's Word. That sets a precedent. Base your answers on God's Word and not the wisdom of the world and you will always be right.
Recently I've been studying in Genesis and keep thinking about Lot. My thoughts this time revolve around the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Check this out, look at Genesis 18:20-21 Then the Lord said , "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and their sin is extremely serious. I will go down to see if what they have done justifies the cry that has come up to Me. If not, I will find out." (HCSB)
I understand God knows everything and he does not need anyone to tell Him anything. But, in this case, the Lord said a "cry has come up to Him". We know looking back on Lot that he was a righteous man (2 Peter 2:7-8). Did the cry about Soddom and Gomorrah come from Lot?

For quite some time I have watched preachers on television or listened to them on the radio. Here is what bugs me, They give you a partial message then they tell you to go to their website or call in to order the entire series which costs (for some) one hundred dollars. Really, could you see Paul doing that? I really don't. Who sets the price of the series? Do they go before God and ask how much to charge for it? Well, I don't think they do that either. Who says they are even worth a hundred bucks? Pat yourself on the back there big fella. It bugs me because it eliminates the poor (me- and a few others I guess) from hearing the rest of the message. I never get the "Final Point", the grand culmination of the sermon.

Well this is my first blog post so it is really a test post. One thing I did think about is King Saul and how he died. Is that how the world sees a believer in God that is not living right. Does that pin us to the wall? Fortunately we have a Godly man to take us down and bury us.
